This weekend (March 29,2014) Mormon women will gather for a historic meeting. For the first time, instead of having adult women and teenage girls meet separately in an annual conference, they will now meet together twice a year–and girls ages eight and older are invited as well. Mormons will be able to attend the conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, or watch it in church buildings around the world–or even at home on television and internet. The women and girls will learn about their sacred roles as daughters of God through talks given by female international Mormon leaders and the president of the Church, Thomas S. Monson.
