Thank you Diane for your comments... The more we support each other for what we have accomplished in forgiveness, the better we are!

Thank you for sharing this message. I too have Jewish family (Convert Husband and all his side) and I feel their pain. But I agree, like all other pains, turning it over to Christ is the only way to have it lifted and to move up toward the light.

Yes--That is the only book that I have read which dealt with concentration camps. It was very inspiring and I had heard that story from others who had listened to her speak. What a great example she is to the world.

This was an amazing article! There are some things that just seem so hard to forgive. Did you ever read Corrie Ten Boom's book about being in one of the camps (for helping Jewish people, not for being Jewish)? She gave a speech about forgiveness, talking about what she and her family had endured, including the death of her sister. Afterwards, one of the brutal guards she had dealt with in the camp approached her and said he was now a Christian and wondered if she could forgive him. She suddenly didn't think she could--not when he was standing right there. She finally prayed and told God she could put out her hand to shake his, and He would have to do the rest for her. She did learn to forgive him, but I've always remembered that story.
