I loved this article Patty. The imagery of your struggle for breath and the fear of going completely under is a feeling we can all relate to through the various troubling and disturbing experiences we sometimes undergo, and as consequences of our own actions in particular. What most of us know is that whatever trouble we are in, the Lord can almost always pull us out, and he provides that "cove" of rescue you describe. I will add that sometimes d/t the consequences of bridge jumping one may not make it out. My daughter graduated in 2010 from high school here in Great Falls, Montana with a young man that within a week or so of graduation he did this with friends. While some did, he didn't make it out of the swift Missouri River current. Young people are can be so impulsive, they just don't think about what could happen when their dare-deviling goes awry. I wish all could really be warned about bridge jumping dangers. Thank you, Susan
