Edna, excellent point! Just imagine how much money and paper would be saved if we were all just a little more careful in our work.
I enjoyed. Your references to lessons in the work force that are easy to relate to our spiritual growth and journey back to our Heavenly Father are familiar to me. I continually found ways to parallel different aspects of my job as the executive director of a nonprofit service agency.

We were required to write an extensive quality assurance plan for our multi-faceted services. The state gave us long, detailed instructions on how it was to be written and what points each section would cover, as well as a full day of training to make sure we understood what the federal government required.

As I wrote our plan I couldn't help but think over and over that there was already an applicable plan written in the scriptures and if we followed that plan there would be no need for quality assurance plans or personnel policies (aside from the necessary factual information, of course). It's all covered by the golden rule and the ten commandments.
