When I became a widow I had a new Bishop that was so cruel and mean to me the whole time I was there when he was Bishop and then Stake President.  It took 10 years to even get close to start forgiving him and I am still working on it.  It wasn&#039;t just a mistaken one or two times.  It was his treatment of me many times over a period of 11 years.  It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.  I understand completely what you are saying and I never stopped going to church.  Always went!  Always because I would not let him take that away from me.  He has hurt many others as well but it&#039;s so painful to be treated the way I was treated.
