Faith is a great gift to have, Susanne — especially in a time when so many are losing faith. Obedience and service are great gifts, as well. I think my husband’s whole life has been about quiet service, and he has been such a great example to me and our children! Thank you for your kind comments. 🙂

I have an idea what some of them are, but no idea whatsoever what gifts to ask for. I guess I’ve just spent too many years trying to survive, spiritually!

I’ve definitely learned alot through my 60+ years of life as well, and I’ve grown and changed in ways I never dreamed of because of it.

My Patriarchal Blessing emphasizes faith, so perhaps that’s one of them? I’ve always tried to work on making it stronger because it’s mentioned so much. It also mentions obedience and service.

This article made me think when I read it this morning; thank you for sharing your thoughts.
