This comment really touched my heart. Thank you so much for reaching out; I'm so glad the article resonated with you. From my own experience, changing is SO hard — but it's also so rewarding. I know that as you seek to make positive changes in your own life, the Lord will be with you. Wishing you the best! <3

I really needed to read this tonight. I think I am doing ok, I know what means the most to me. But as I read this I realized I may think I know what means the most to me. But are my everyday actions and attitude showing that?
I know I have not been as consistent with my scripture study, as diligent in my prayers, or attended the temple as often as I have before. I have to be honest also and admit that I have known that for almost this whole year.
I recognize that my spirituality has taken a hit this year. I keep promising Heavenly Father and myself that I will do better. I know what I need to do. But a week later I haven’t improved not really. Not the way I know deep inside my heart that I need too.
I am printing this out and I am absolutely going to change. I need to not just for myself but for my husband, children, grandchildren, siblings everyone I love.
I know as I do I will be closer to my Heavenly Father, and by being closer my spirit will be stronger. I will have promptings and will listen and act on them.
Thank you for this beautiful post and for doing and saying exactly what Heavenly Father wanted/needed you to say. I am so very thankful I stopped and read this and have felt a fire in my belly that I simply can’t and won’t ignore.
I am very grateful y sweet family will feel it and they will be grateful too.
