Janette Beverley is a lover of life, family, music, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. She enjoys searching for new ways to relate everyday life occurrences to beautiful gospel principles. Janette has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. She has five amazing children and one equally amazing husband, and feels she is blessed to be able to spend her time looking for the simple joys in the life they share together.
She also loves using music to share the spirit. After starting piano lessons when she was seven years old, she has spent the following decades of her life staring at sheets of music. She attended the University of Utah for piano performance and has performed around the country, most recently performing with the Temple Hill Orchestra in Oakland, CA and Latter-day Saint violinist Jenny Oaks Baker. She is a composer, recorded artist, concert pianist, and vocal coach/piano teacher of over 26 years.
She has had the privilege of living all over the country and has found countless opportunities to mentor and counsel others who have struggled with marriage and family relations. She is excited to be writing for LDS Blogs and sharing her love and passion for finding the miraculous among the mundane, the awe-inspiring among the obvious, and the uplifting among the underestimated.
