Welcome to LDSblogs.com! This venue has been created as an online community of everyday, faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sharing their lives, hopes, aspirations, challenges, and circumstances as they are influenced by and infused with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This site tries to show what being a Latter-day Saint looks like from the inside when you live it every day.
It’s our desire that our friends of other faiths can open the books of our lives (or the blogs of our lives) by reading about us here, and learn firsthand what we believe, why we believe it, and why what we believe matters so much. We hope it will dispel common misperceptions perpetuated by third parties, and that those who visit will see the diversity among us as well as the gospel doctrines that bind us together. You’ll find a range of ideas, thoughts, and opinions that demonstrate the variety of thought possible within the structure of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
As mentioned, this is an unofficial site about members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since we are just ordinary people writing about the gospel as we personally see it, you’ll also want to check out the official websites for official doctrine. For the official site of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, please visit ChurchofJesusChrist.org or ComeUntoChrist.org.
We welcome your suggestions and hope you enjoy browsing.
Would you like to write for us? We are always looking for volunteer bloggers who are practicing, believing, follow-the-prophet members of the Church. Click on the image below to learn what topics we have open. If you have an idea that isn’t listed here, contact us and we’ll consider it.
