Delisa Hargrove

Delisa (pronounced Day-lisa) is a wanderer. The earth and the people in it fascinate her and she loves to encounter them both as much as possible. She passionately loves the temple. One major life goal is to visit every temple in the world. She’s been to 91 so far!  She loves the Lord, her husband and bulldog, laughing, family time, temple time, learning new things, exploring nature, ancient cultures, road trips, movies, feeling the wind in her hair, and yearns to go to the end of every road. Her bulldog also yearns to go to the end of every road—her husband, not so much.

She believes in Christ, the plan of salvation, and the correctness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She knows God speaks to mankind today through prophets and to individuals through the Holy Ghost. She knows the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price are holy scripture testifying of the Savior Jesus Christ and proclaiming the existence of a loving Heavenly Father. She believes that the scriptures are guide maps back to God and loves to see how ancient stories still apply to modern life. She finds peace through Grace and happiness in everyday beauty and tender mercies.
