Terrie wrote her first book when she was in second grade after asking her grandmother for a typewriter to help launch her career. Unfortunately, she lost the book before it was finished—and before she showed it to anyone—so she later had no idea what it was about.
Once she was grown up, she began writing articles and short stories and then took a writing break to homeschool her children. During that time, she worked as an online manager for several professional websites. Once her children were older, she wrote two homeschooling books, which were published by a traditional publisher. She continued in her career managing writers because she enjoyed writers as people.
We at LDS Blogs were blessed for many years with her encouragement and love. Even though she “graduated” from this Earth life and got to move back home with our Father in Heaven, we continue to be inspired by her words. Throughout her career, she wrote 500+ articles, so we have many to choose from. We hope you’ll be as uplifted by her words as we are.
