How much joy my Lord and Savior brings into my life. From the ever sing.

Christus Jesus Christ Mormon

I am a child of God,
And he has sent me here,
Has given me an earthly home
With parents kind and dear.

I am a child of God,
And so my needs are great,
Help me to understand His words
Before it grows too late.

I am a child of God,
Rich blessings are in store,
If I but learn to do His will
I’ll live with Him once more.

Chorus: Lead me, guide me, walk beside me,
Help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do
To live with him someday.
(“I Am a Child of God,” Hymns, no. 301)

While Christ is not our Father, that role belongs to our Heavenly Father, He is our brother and ransomed Himself for our soul. Because of Him eternal life is possible.

I love my Savior with all my heart and soul. I find such joy in sharing His gospel and in the knowledge that the love He holds for me, and each of us, is beyond our wildest comprehension and understanding. He may be disappointed in us on occasion, but He never stops loving us. Imagine the love you hold for your child and times that by a trillion and you will have but an inkling of the love that our Savior holds for you.

He is my Lord, Redeemer and Savior. He is my God. He is my Brother. All that He is about is bringing as many back to our Father in Heaven who are willing to come. He will never force you. It is not what he is about. He will never nag you. That also is not what he is about.

He will whisper. He will encourage. He will love. He will strengthen you. He will hold you up when you cannot hold yourself up. He paid that terrible price and satisfied justice on our behalf.

“To live with Him some day.” I can scarcely wait.
